LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Fundamentals - Incorporate efficient new evidence-based approaches to workup, diagnosis, management, patient education, and/or referral for patients with common acute and chronic conditions in Family Medicine – including Dementia, Skin aging, insomnia, rheumatologic conditions, obesity, infectious diseases, abrasions, burns or wounds
  • Population Health - Improve equitable care by addressing needs of specific patient populations across the lifespan, and recognizing/mitigating provider bias in context of cases discussed
  • Social Media - Develop effective digital communication strategies to champion advocacy and public health
  • Workshops (hands-on, in-person only) - Address personal gaps in cardiac testing, joint exam/injections, and simple quick OMT procedures for acute back and neck pain
