At the end of this activity, learners will be able to:
- Identify the appropriate timing for treating patients with aortic dissection and recognize anatomical challenges that impact treatment decisions
- Compare medical and surgical management strategies for carotid disease to determine the most suitable approach for individual patients
- Understand the function and clinical application of newer devices in the management of peripheral arterial disease (PAD)
- Enhance physicians' competence and confidence in managing complex aortic dissections
- Improve physicians' proficiency in utilizing new devices for the treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD)
- Analyze current literature to apply evidence-based strategies for managing patients with complex aortic dissection
- Evaluate and implement appropriate management approaches for asymptomatic carotid stenosis based on current guidelines and research to improve patient outcome
