Registration

When is the Registration deadline?

  •  Thursday, September 4, 2025

What information should I have to complete my registration?

  • Contact information
  • Status as NDA member or non-member
  • Payment method by Credit Card or Check

What does the registration fee cover?

  • Besides the presentations at conference, it covers Pre-Conference Workshops on Sunday, two hosted cocktail receptions, continental breakfast and lunch buffet on Monday and Tuesday

Can I transfer my registration to someone else in my company in the event I cannot attend?

  • Yes, you can.  Please contact Aubrey Tran atran@helmsbriscoe.com
  • Please make sure to contact the hotel directly to transfer the room to the other person’s name.  NDA is not responsible for doing that. 

What if I need to cancel?

  • The last day to cancel to receive a full refund on the conference is Thursday, September 4, 2025.

Hotel

What is the cost for the hotel?

  • $339.00 plus taxes per night.  This rate applies to the nights of Friday, October 3, 2025 – Wednesday, October 8, 2025
  • Please note the hotel only has a select number of hotel rooms on these nights. If they are taken you can book your room at the current reservation rate at the time of booking.

What is the Hotel reservation deadline?

  • Thursday, September 11, 2025. However, it is best to reserve early to ensure you secure a room at the rate of $339/night.

Can I extend the trip pre or post-dates? 

  • Yes.  It will be based on availability at time of booking and at the rate decided on by the hotel if the nights are not part of our group rates (10/03/2025 – 10/08/2025).

Will the hotel honor the group rate for additional dates?

  • No

Can I call the hotel directly to book my reservation?

  • Yes, but it’s preferable to go through the hotel link located on the Conference website on the Venue tab.

What are the checkin & check out times?

  • Check-in: 4:00pm
  • Check-out: 11:00am

Dietary Needs

What if I have special dietary or other needs?

  • Please let us know during the registration process, there will be a spot for you to input your needs.

Conference Attire

What is the attire for the conference?  Different for day vs. night?

  • Business casual.  Dressier for receptions if you so desire.

Transportation to/from Hotel

Will airport transportation be provided? 

  • No, there are numerous taxis, ubers, etc once you have exited the airport.

How long is the travel time?

  • It is approximately 5-10 minutes from San Diego International Airport (SAN) to Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina

Is there parking onsite?

  • Yes, on-site self-parking is available for a daily rate of $45.00. Valet parking is available for a daily rate of $65.00 per day.

Conference Content

Will there be WiFi in the meeting?

  • No, wifi will not be provided during our conference.

When will I receive the agenda? 

  • When available it will be posted under the Agenda tab.

What type of presentations and/or speakers will be at the conference?

  • When available, they will be listed on the Speakers Tab

Will the presentations be available?

  • After the conference, pdf versions of the presentations will be available.

Will the presentations be recorded?

  • No

Why be a Conference Buddy or be a Mentor?

  • Your experience at the NDA Conference can be enhanced by someone who can help you navigate sessions and answer any questions, including what to bring and what time to arrive! He/She can provide support, share insights, and connect you with other attendees and vendors throughout the conference.
  • When registering for the conference, please indicate whether you are an attendee who would like to be paired with a conference mentor, or whether you would like to volunteer as a Buddy to mentor an attendee. 
  • Ultimately, the Conference Buddy Program is designed as a valuable resource for attendees to maximize their conference experience, build relationships, and gain new perspectives.
