Dig Safe Fund

The Dig Safe Fund was created to help fund the attendance of individuals (specifically excavators, contractors, and nonprofit affiliates) who would not otherwise be able to attend the CCGA Damage Prevention Symposium due to financial restrictions. This fund will enable us to attract a more diverse audience, with a broader range of perspectives and engaging conversations. The CCGA invites all stakeholders in the excavating community across Canada, their affiliates, and their associations to contribute to the Dig Safe Fund.

Our vision for Halifax is to see more excavators and contractors attend and participate in our discussions. We have been told that the most significant barrier for local contractors or excavators is the cost of the conference, as small business owners may be able to make time to attend but cannot afford the additional expenses required to commit. Nominal contributions of any amount will help send local excavators, contractors, or nonprofit affiliates to experience the symposium. This is the second year we have organized the fund, and we are excited to continue spreading support within the industry.

Starting at $500, your contribution can increase to any amount. We will have an application form that will be communicated to Atlantic Canada-based contractors/excavators to seek interested applicants.
