Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a registration deadline? 

Yes, you must register for the Advisor Summit by August 27. Click here to register now.

The cut off to book your room at the group rate is August 13.

 

 

Are meals included with my registration?

The conference will include daily breakfasts, coffee breaks, snacks as well as lunch. 

The Welcome Reception includes hors d'oeuvres, food stations and welcome drinks. 

The Soirée on Tuesday evening includes hors d'oeuvres, open bar, and assorted food stations.  

 

Can I cancel my registration? 

Yes. Please email events.iaprivatewealth@ia.ca with any cancellations or questions. You are responsible for hotel and airfare cancellations. 

 

What is the attire for the conference? 

We recommend business casual for the duration of the conference. 

 

Can I earn CE credits at this conference?  

Yes, credits are earned by attending and participating in select CE-eligible sessions. 

 

What do I need to attend the event? 

Your badge is your "ticket" for all conference activities (sessions, exhibitions, meals and receptions). Badges must be worn at all times and are not transferable. 

 

Will there be a virtual component to the event? 

There will be no virtual component; however, session recordings will be available on Workday post-event. 

 

How do I confirm my attendance for the additional events?

When you complete your registration, you will have the option to select the additional events. You may bring a guest for the Tuesday evening soiree for an additional cost. Please email events.iaprivatewealth@ia.ca if you plan to do so.

 

Once I check out, can I bring my luggage into the conference meeting space?

No, luggage is not accepted in the meeting space for safety reasons. Contact the hotel's guest services by dialing "0" from your room to have your luggage picked up and stored until your departure. Or bring your luggage down to the lobby level to have it stored by a bellman.

 

Will there be an event app?

Yes, you will receive the download link two weeks before the event start date.
