The tournament will be held this year at the Wigwam Golf Resort in Litchfield Park.
A popular golf destination in the heart of Arizona's Valley of the Sun, Wigwam Golf Club's three courses-Gold, Red and Blue-have attracted golf travelers worldwide since opening in 1965. To this day Wigwam Golf continues to link traditions and generations together through original golf course designs crafted by Robert "Red" Lawrence (red Course) and Robert Trent Jones, Sr. (Gold and Blue Course), with contemporary touch ups made by Tom Lehman Design.
The tournament celebrates the memory of Assistant Chief Steve Alley who was an active AFCA member and coordinated the conference golf tournament for many years. A portion of the proceeds from the tournament go to support the Arizona L.A.S.T. (Local Assistance State Team) which provides assistance to any Arizona Fire Service Agency in the event of a department related death.
The tournament is a traditional "no handicap", best ball, shot gun start tournament. Individual, twosome and foursome registrations are allowed. Prizes are provided for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams, longest drive, closest to the pin and longest putt.
