This year, we are having a raffle and silent auction! 

If you are new to ERICSA, each year, we choose a local child/family focused charity in our conference locale and raise funds for them during our Norfolk conference. The generous spirit of our conference attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors makes for a fun and lucrative event for our selected charity. 
 

ForKids

This year, our charity is ForKids. Their mission: We are working toward a future where all families have a place to call home – because when families are secure, communities are stronger.

Since 1988, ForKids has delivered individualized services designed to achieve stability for children and families. More than 35 years since its inception, ForKids operates with more than 140 staff members and 1,100 volunteers, serving more than 70,000 individuals across Southeastern Virginia annually. ForKids delivers comprehensive, wrap-around services that address the root causes of homelessness and poverty to bring families long-lasting stability.

Raffle and Silent Auction Information

Back to the raffle and silent auction… holding a raffle gives everyone a chance at winning, just buy your tickets and drop them into a correlating bag.  Some items will be silent auctions, with bids accepted throughout the conference and awarded at the banquet.

Each day we will have different raffle items available.  Items are donated by our amazing sponsors and exhibitors, and you, our ERICSA family.  Popular raffle items are (and certainly not limited to):

  • Gift Cards
  • Jewelry
  • Luxury brand handbags (Coach, Michael Kors, Vera Bradley, etc)
  • Electronics
  • Sports jerseys & memorabilia
  • Gift baskets

This year, alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed for raffle/auction. 

If you would like to donate something, and you don’t want to schlep it in your luggage or you aren’t going to be able attend and still want to donate, please reach out to Rieda Abrams-Miller at abramsmillerr@auctor.com for more information on how to get items to the conference.

As a heads up, ticket* prices for raffle items will be:

  • One ticket - $1
  • 6 tickets - $5
  • 25 tickets - $20

* If you find writing your name and phone # on all those tickets, this year, we will offer label printing services for a nominal price with the purchase of a TBD quantity of tickets.
