WHAT LAS VEGAS IS DOING TO HELP PROTECT YOUR HEALTH & SAFETY.

How the Wynn Las Vegas is helping protect your health

  • Non-invasive thermal temperature scans at all entrances.
  • A team of cleaning professionals disinfecting guest areas 24-hours a day.
  • Appropriate and comfortable physical distancing in all gaming and dining areas.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers, touchless whenever possible, will be placed at key guest and employee entrances and contact areas such as driveways, reception areas, hotel lobbies, the casino floor, restaurant entrances, meeting and convention spaces, elevator landings, pools, salons and exercise areas.
  • Employees are instructed to stay home if they do not feel well and are instructed to contact a manager if they notice a coworker or guest displaying or complaining of any known symptoms of COVID-19. A certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) will be on site 24 hours per day during the initial reopening period.
  • All Wynn employees have been instructed to wash their hands, or use sanitizer when a sink is not available, every 60 minutes (for 20-seconds) and after any of the following activities: using the restroom, sneezing, touching the face, blowing the nose, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, smoking, eating, drinking, entering and leaving the gaming floor, going on break and before or after starting a shift.

  • Appropriate PPE will be worn by all employees based on their role and responsibilities and in adherence to state or local regulations and guidance.
  • Guests & visitors will be screened for temperature and then asked to use hand sanitizer. Guests are required (as per current mandate from the state of Nevada updated 6.25.2020) to wear a mask or face covering in indoor public spaces.
  • Our hotels use cleaning products and protocols which meet EPA guidelines for use against the virus that causes COVID-19 and are effective against viruses, bacteria and other airborne and bloodborne pathogens. Upon check out each room will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected using electrostatic spray technology; rooms will then be sealed with a disinfection label.
  • High touch items (remotes, light switches, door handles, toilet seats, etc.) will be disinfected with extra care. The existing Amazon Alexa units allow for touchless control of key features including drapery, air conditioning and lighting.

Airline Industry Response to COVID-19

  • PPE - Airlines are requiring travelers and airline employees to wear face coverings during flight. They will also begin to offer face coverings, sanitizing wipes, and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to travelers that need it as supplies & conditions permit.
  • Flexibility - Most major airlines are offering options to rebook or cancel scheduled flights without penalties due to the pandemic. Please check with your preferred airline to review their specific rebooking and cancellation policies.
  • Social Distancing Practices - Seating assignments are updated based on occupancy of plane in order to accommodate social distancing measures and help protect the health of passengers.
  • Sanitation - Airports have appropriately placed sanitizing stations in key public spaces available for all travelers to use. Enhanced aircraft cleaning procedures have also been implemented to assist with better disinfecting high-touch points on the plane and throughout the airport as well.
  • Mobile Apps - Most major airlines have mobile apps which allow you to book/update travel plans, confirm flight status, navigate through your local airport using interactive maps, and access your electronic boarding ticket. The use of technology limits the need to interact with airport staff, ticketing desks/kiosks, and other high traffic areas. The use of mobile technology helps improve travelers' opportunities to practice social distancing.
