We look forward to seeing you next week at our first Virginia Advocacy Conference. On Tuesday afternoon, we’ll hear from the Commissioner of the Virginia Bureau of Financial Institutions, discuss our legislative priorities, go over the importance of grassroots engagement, and learn how you and your credit union can get involved. Tuesday evening, we will celebrate together at our Awards Reception, where we will honor credit unions and leaders.
Wednesday morning, we will meet with our state legislators to discuss our legislative priorities and the great work credit unions are doing in their communities. Afterwards, we will take our traditional photo on the steps of the Capitol and end with a boxed lunch and remarks from Attorney General Jason Miyares at Credit Union House.
***Tuesday’s Advocacy Training location has changed. The training will be held at Hunton Andrews Kurth on the 20th Floor of Riverfront Plaza’s East Tower.
