Transportation From Airport

The Courtyard Grand Rapids Downtown Hotel is approximately 13 miles from the Gerald R. Ford International Airport (airport code GRR).
 

Rideshare Services
Uber and Lyft provide rideshare services at the airport. 

To catch your rideshare, exit the terminal through door #2 (across from the Delta ticket counter), and go to the Rideshare Shelter on the boulevard. This is the designated pick-up/drop-off point for all rideshare vehicles.

Car Rental
Rental car agency counters are located on the first level of the parking garage. Look for the rental car return lane as you approach the parking garage. 

Taxi Service
To catch taxi service, exit the terminal through door #3 or door #5, and go to the climate controlled Parking Shuttle Shelter on the boulevard. There, a taxi starter will assist you with your cab arrangements and get you on your way. If you'd like to book online, please visit the Metro Cabs website.

Visa Waiver Program (VWP)
Citizens of participating countries may be eligible to travel to the United States for short temporary business visits without a visa through the Visa Waiver Program.

Travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program requires ESTA approval.

Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA)
If you are a citizen of a country participating in the Visa Waiver Program, you must meet the eligibility requirements to travel to the U.S. under the program. You will also need authorization through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) before beginning your trip..

When should I submit an application through ESTA?
Applications may be submitted at any time prior to travel to the United States. The Department of Homeland Security recommends that travel authorization applications be submitted at least 72 hours prior to travel. Unless revoked, travel authorizations are valid for two years from the date of authorization, or until your passport expires, whichever comes first.
