Raise Your Voice on Capitol Hill!

During Age+Action, attendees have the opportunity to board buses and visit with their members of Congress on Capitol Hill. If you're interested in participating, please sign up for Hill Day when you register. There is no extra cost to participate, and in 2024 over 200 of your peers took advantage of this opportunity!

We make it easy for you to advocate on behalf of older adults and your organization. NCOA will provide:

Training
We will provide on-demand webinars where you can learn more about what's involved in Hill Day.
Scheduling
NCOA is working with Advocacy Associates to schedule meetings for all participants. They will contact your members of Congress and arrange meetings on your behalf.
Mobile App
You will access a free mobile app to see your list of scheduled meetings and get real-time updates. The app also includes maps of Capitol Hill, tips on getting around, and chat so you can coordinate with other participants.
Materials
You will receive talking points and folders with issue briefs that you can leave behind during your meetings.
Transportation
Buses will leave the conference hotel in the morning and return in the afternoon.
Pre-event rally
Get ready the night before! Participants will receive T-shirts and get last-minute tips and updates. You will also ask questions and meet others from your state.
