Target Audience
This activity is intended for U.S. physicians, physician assistants, DOs, and nurse practitioners who care for patients with hemophilia A and B. [Please note that this event is an educational symposium for US prescribers only, due to ensuring the confidential nature of planned group discussions.]
Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participants should be better able to:
Describe current state of inhibitor testing methodology.
Identify gaps in inhibitor testing among patients with hemophilia with reported factor concentrate utilization
Discuss barriers to inhibitor testing practice.
Collaborate with hematologist attendees to identify solutions to barriers and promote inhibitor testing among all persons with hemophilia receiving clotting factor concentrates.
