What is included in the Anchor Of My Soul cruise? We've created an unforgettable cruise experience for our cruisers. Along with our private, exclusive activities, your cruise includes meals in the main restaurants (excluding the specialty restaurants), beverages, fully equipped gyms, and entertainment & more!
What is not included in the Anchor Of My Soul cruise? The price does not include airfare, transfers from the hotel or airport, onboard purchases (i.e. special services, specialty restaurants, gift shops, gambling, shore excursions, or travel protection) Some of these items can be pre-purchased, creating a more inclusive experience.
Do I need a passport or visa? Technically, U.S. citizens can present a state-certified birth certificate and government-issued photo ID to sail on most cruises departing from the U.S. But a passport is the more efficient, secure option.
Everyone will need to present an accepted form of identification to board the ship. We strongly recommend that all guests present a passport as their form of ID on boarding day, and for some guests a passport is required. The passport must be valid for six months after the day your cruise ends.

How many people can fit into a cabin? The occupancy limit varies by cabin, some of which can accommodate 3 or 4 guests. Please note that the cabin size will stay the same regardless of how many guests are booked. In most cases, a convertible sofa bed is provided for the 3rd guest. A 4th occupant will be sleeping on a Pullman (trundle) bed that folds down from the ceiling. This guest must have the physical dexterity to climb up to the bunk bed.
What if I need to make a name change? Name changes are permitted, however at least one guest from the original reservation must remain in the room. Changing all names in a room is not permitted and considered a cancellation. Any change fees are determined by the cruise line. If you cancel 89 days or less prior to sailing, there is a $75 name change fee.
What if I want to book a single cabin? Guests traveling by themselves are certainly welcome! Single guests may reserve any stateroom. The cost will be doubled (this is known as the “single supplement”).
How do I purchase travel protection? You may purchase travel protection while making your reservation or by calling our partners at Cruises.com/800-259-6554. Travel Protection is purchased on a per person basis and is based on the cost of your cruise. You can also include the cost of your non-refundable airline tickets. Please note that certain preconditions mandate purchase within 7 days of your reservation to be effective. Non-U.S. citizens may qualify to purchase cruise line insurance.
What if I need a roommate? The Anchor For My Soul cruise will be mentioned on several Social Media platforms. You may want to watch to see if others are looking for a roommate and connect with them.
How does MSC accommodate guests with special dietary requirements or gluten and other food allergies? MSC Cruises holds a certification for its food safety management system in accordance with ISO 22000 standard requirements. MSC Cruises offers a gluten-friendly selection on most of its ships.
Guests with food intolerances and/or allergies must inform MSC Cruises of their needs via the Special Needs Form and, once on board, confirm their requirements at Reception-Guest Service and/or with the Maître d’hôtel.
Kosher meals (pre-packaged breakfast, lunch and dinner) may be available on board for an additional charge starting from €25 pp/day. Kosher meals can be consumed in the main restaurants and must be booked at least 3 weeks before ship’s departure.
Halal products (beef, lamb and poultry) may be available on board following former request of the guest at least two months before departure.
Is smoking allowed on the ship? MSC Cruises' smoking policy prohibits smoking in most areas of the ship, except for designated smoking areas. Smoking areas are marked with signage and ashtrays and are fewer in number than non-smoking areas. Smoking is not allowed in cabins, on balconies, or anywhere else not specifically designated for smoking. Smoking includes all forms of smoking, including e-cigarettes.
What is the voltage on the ship? Electricity on board all ships is supplied at a voltage of 110/220 V in the cabin. The only electrical appliances permitted in cabins are: electric shavers and hairdryers, battery chargers, medical devices and computers.
How do I check-in for my cruise? Your e-ticket documents are available 30 days before sailing and up to 24 hours prior to departure. You can access them through your Web Check-In dashboard under Manage Your Booking. If your e-ticket is not yet available, check back soon. You should also receive an e-mail when your documents are ready.
In order to complete Check-In successfully, you will need the following: Personal Information for each guest are checking in; Identification Document (passport etc.) information for each guest you are checking in; Onward Travel Plans and credit card used for onboard purchases. What clothes should I pack? Pack outfits that you’ll be comfortable in, even when the sun is scorching hot, so you don’t have to worry about going back to the ship to get changed midday. Effortless flowy skirts and airy linen shirts make great cover-ups for swimwear that will protect your skin from the sun as you explore at port.
Daytime wear: Casual wear is recommended for daytime attire. Shorts and T-shirts are permitted.
Evening wear: A more polished look is recommended for evening wear when dining in the Main Dining Rooms and Specialty Restaurants and while enjoying the entertainment in the theater, bars, and lounges. Collared shirts, tailored pants or shorts, skirts, and dresses are suggested. Layers and a light jacket or sweater are suggested for cooler nights and in the ship’s air-conditioned public areas.
Gala wear: On Gala Night, dress to impress! Whether that means a tuxedo, suit and tie, evening gown or cocktail dress, or perhaps it’s your very best jeans and polo shirt, your attire should fit your own level of elegance. The only thing required is your smile.
Theme parties: We organize various daytime and evening Theme Parties on board. You may wish to bring bright fun clothes for the Sunshine Party and something white for the White Party.
Dress restrictions: Specific restrictions may be enforced by onboard staff members including restaurant hostesses and management. At no point is swimwear allowed in any formal dining venue for any meal, including breakfast and lunch. Shorts, flip flops, and tank tops are not allowed for Evening Wear or Gala Night in the Main Dining Rooms, Specialty Restaurants, or MSC Yacht Club. T-shirts are not allowed to be worn for Gala Night. Dress code rules that are posted outside the buffet should be followed.
