Terra 2022

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

PLEASE NOTE: The scholarship deadline for Terra 2022 has now passed.

Scholarship Information

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the funding landscape is more restricted than originally anticipated. With the limited scholarship funds we have, we will be prioritizing funding to speakers/presenters as well as local and regional attendees from the Native American tribes and pueblos and applicants from the ICCROM Member States in the Arab, Africa, or OIC regions.

Given our limited capacity for funding, we highly encourage you to apply for funding with your home institutions and seek out individual travel grants. We have compiled a list of travel grants and scholarships available for individuals to apply on their own. Please see below for a running list of potential scholarships for individual application. We recommend reviewing this list to see if any grants match your qualifications. We also recommend seeking out funding opportunities from your university and/or research institution directly.

Financial assistance to attend Terra 2022 World Congress has been provided thus far thanks to the generous support of Getty Foundation, Chamiza Foundation, and ICCROM’s ATHAR Programme through ICCROM’s Regional Office in Sharjah, U.A.E. ICCROM ATHAR’s scholarship is made possible through gracious financial support from His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi.

For any questions about funding opportunities to attend Terra 2022, please contact Terra2022@getty.edu
