Raffle Tickets may be purchased ahead of time through registration or on site during the festival.
The drawing for the winners will take place during the banquet. Winners will be notified on Sunday of the festival.
Tickets will cost:
$5 for one ticket
$25 for six tickets (includes 1 bonus ticket)
$50 for 13 tickets (includes 3 bonus tickets)

The artwork raffle features an attractive watercolor painting of Sandhill Cranes gathering at dusk. Carol McHarney was the WOW 2004 Featured Artist. Cranes have been a moving force in Caryl's life for many years. Their elegant grace has been a recurring theme in her work for several years, ever since she first saw them at the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico, where she has also been Featured Artist at the Festival of the Cranes. Caryl has begun to migrate with the birds, showing her crane impressions in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Nebraska, where the Stuhr Museum at Grand Island featured her work in a solo show in March 2001. Caryl has worked and resided in New Mexico since the 1940’s, As a teacher of The Book Arts and creating reading materials in native languages, Caryl travels to distant corners of the world where she keeps her sketchbook and camera handy to record the life around her. She has published multiple books in Native American Languages, held at libraries around the world. At Three Crane Studio (her own), these impressions become paintings and limited edition etchings and serigraphs. She studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and has degrees in painting and design and bilingual education from UNM.
Silent Auction
The silent auction is held during the banquet and is a fun opportunity to bid with friends and tablemates for a wide variety of items. The funds generated from the silent auction all support the festival’s “Nature Fund” and are
directed towards conservation and habitat improvements in the Sulphur Springs Valley.
