This hour-long event will celebrate Connection women, shining a spotlight on their contributions and achievements. We will feature video interviews and a live panel discussion with Connection employees who will share insights and experiences from their professional lives, key moments in their careers that impacted their trajectory, what they’ve learned, and advice for women on their professional journeys. Joan Evans
Senior VP of Human Resources, Connection
As Senior VP of Human Resources at Connection, Joan is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources and Learning and Development. With more than 25 years of experience creating supportive, productive work environments, Joan has a passion for promoting positive culture, building relationships and inspiring others. Joan holds a Master of Science degree in Labor Relations/Human Resources from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Stonehill College. She also has an Advanced Employee Relations and Investigations Certificate from Cornell University, Joan recently has earned her CPC (Certified Professional Coach) credential this past year. Outside of the office, Joan has a passion for playing volleyball and routinely volunteers at a soup kitchen.
Paige McNamara
Director of Partner Development for North America, Microsoft
As Director of Partner Development for North America at Microsoft, Paige McNamara brings valuable perspective from both sides of the partnership ecosystem, having started her career at a Managed Services Provider within the Microsoft Partner ecosystem before joining Microsoft directly.
Her deep understanding of technology solutions and commitment to customer success have guided her path through multiple roles at Microsoft. In just five years with the company, she has advanced rapidly through positions in Enterprise sales and Strategic Account sales to Director of Business Applications in the SMC division, before assuming her current leadership role. Her decade of industry experience continues to shape her approach to building strong partner relationships across North America.
Throughout her tenure, Paige has been recognized for her collaborative leadership approach and team-building capabilities. When she’s not working alongside her team and partners to drive innovation, she cherishes time with her husband Tom, their sons, and their dogs.
