Connection Employee Travel Details

The following instructions are applicable only to employees invited to attend CNXN Live activities in West Palm Beach, FL. Please follow the instructions below to book your travel and confirm your participation at this event. Please register immediately and book your flight through Concur.

      

     Pack Business Casual Attire

    The attire for the full event will be business casual. The weather in South Florida changes often, so remember to check the weather 24–48 hours before departing your home city to make sure you packed for the correct climate.

    Dress to impress! The suggested attire for this event is business casual for all sessions and evening events.

    • Business casual attire: casual pants/skirts, dark jeans (no rips or white wash), button down or polo shirt, jacket/blazer
    • No shorts, athleisure wear, T-shirts, sneakers, and hats of any type at CNXN Live meetings, receptions, dinners, etc.

     Book Your Flight by Friday, November 22, 2024

    You will need to book your flight through Concur. In Concur, please select trip reference and enter the event name: 2025 Connection LIVE.

    • Arrival will be on Monday, January 13. 
    • Departure will be on Friday, January 17, after the meeting concludes. Do not book a flight before 2:00 p.m., to allow for enough time to get to the airport after the meeting.

     Airport

    The preferred event airport is Palm Beach International Airport (PBI)*, located three miles (10 minutes) from the Hilton West Palm Beach.

    Other local airports are:

    • Fort Lauderdale (FLL), located 50 miles (one hour) from the event location.
    • Miami (MIA), located 70 miles (one hour and thirty minutes) from the Hilton West Palm Beach.

    *Exceptions to PBI need to be approved by the Events Team.
     

     Airport Transportation (PBI Only)

    Arrivals: Shuttles from PBI to the Hilton will operate from 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on a first come first serve basis for all Connection employees on Monday, January 13th. View all details.

    Departures: Shuttles from the Hilton to PBI will operate from approximately 12:00–3:00 p.m. on a first come first serve basis for all Connection employees on Friday, January 17th. View all details.

    If you are traveling outside of these dates or time frames, please plan for your own transportation.

    West Palm Beach, Florida

    Due to the growth of CNXN Live, we are partnering with multiple hotel locations. You will be advised of your hotel shortly after registration has closed. Please RSVP to ensure you are included in the hotel block.

    Upon arrival to the hotel, please check in at the hotel front desk. All attendees will be asked for a credit card to cover room incidentals.

     Room Policy

    Connection is covering the cost of hotel accommodations for approved employees flying in to attend this event during the event dates only. All room incidentals (room service, etc.) or additional nights outside the event dates will be the responsibility of each employee.

    Local employees: room cost will not be covered under the event.
