Goodwill of North Georgia Tours

Join Goodwill of North Georgia for a behind the scenes tour of a one of their locations. You will get a firsthand look of store, career center, support center and/or distribution and e-commerce center operations depending on the location you choose. Please be sure to read the descriptions before choosing your tour location. Tours are capped at 45 attendees each and are first come, first serve.
 

Tour options:

• Distribution Center - Attendees will have an opportunity to tour the Goodwill of North Georgia Distribution Center and see e-commerce operations, new goods as well as the operations and sorting process.
• Decatur : Attendees will experience the Goodwill of North Georgia Support Center (headquarters), as well as the Decatur store and career center to see how services are provided to jobseekers as well as the DGR salesfloor and back room operations.
• Buckhead: Attendees will experience the Buckhead store where they will see the store guest experience, sales floor and backroom operations. Note, this is not a co-located site so a career center will not be visited on this tour.

A Goodwill Night Out at Ponce City Market Skyline     

Wrap up your day with a fun and relaxing social hour at the iconic Ponce City Market Skyline! Join fellow conference attendees for an evening of breathtaking views, refreshing drinks, and great company atop one of Atlanta's most vibrant landmarks. Explore Skyline Park's games and attractions, or simply soak in the cityscape as the sun sets over the Atlanta skyline.

Exclusive CEO Tour and Dinner Experience

Join fellow CEOs and Board Members for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of our Goodwill of North Georgia headquarters. CEOs will be shuttled by bus from the hotel to the Decatur location, which includes the support center, career center, and retail store. This intimate tour offers a firsthand look at the Goodwill of North Georgia operations and how they serve their team members, guests, and jobseekers.

After the tour, attendees CEOs will enjoy a private dinner prepared by award-winning Chef Daryl Schular. Chef Schular is the first African American Certified Master Chef in the U.S. and the founder of Schular Hospitality Group, where he is dedicated to mentoring future culinary leaders.

This tour is open exclusively to CEOs. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to connect with fellow CEOs and gain insight into the Goodwill of North Georgia.

• Piedmont: Attendees will experience the Piedmont store where they will see our store guest experience, sales floor and backroom operations. Note, this is not a co-located site so a career center will not be visited on this tour.

Exclusive Tour of Coca-Cola’s CRB Facility (for CEOs Only)

CEOs - The Coca-Cola Company Archives is happy to offer Goodwill an Archivist-led tour of our exhibits at its Atlanta Office Campus. This glimpse into Coca-Cola corporate history includes stops at the Instagram-worthy yellow delivery truck, a replica of the Executive Board Room, and several exhibit cases with artifacts and images from the Archives. For added exclusivity, Coca Cola tour guides will take the group inside its faithful recreation of Robert Woodruff's office for an intimate look. There are 12 spots available first come, first serve.
