Our popular breakfast for nurses is back! Join us for an inspiring program focused on professional growth, featuring two expert speakers and plenty of opportunities to network with fellow nurses from across Ontario — join us!
Confronting Moral Distress in Nursing
Moral distress occurs when we can't do what we think is right: When rules, systems, or situations prevent us from acting in alignment with our personal or professional values. When a nurse burns out or quits due to moral distress, we all lose. Join Rebecca Greenberg, a nurse and bioethicist, to better understand the ways moral distress shows up in nursing, and its connection to burnout. She’ll share practical tips for what nurses can do to look after themselves through challenging times, and what nursing leaders can do to support their teams.
Claudia Del Pozo, Founder and CEO of EON Institute will kick off the breakfast with a brief talk highlighting the ethical implications of AI in the healthcare sector on a global scale.
