Silent Auction

The Kentucky Farm Bureau Young Farmer Scholarship program is funded entirely through the generosity of our community, particularly through our live and silent auctions. Last year, the silent auction, along with the live auction raised over $5,000. Since 2007, these funds have been directly supporting scholarships for young farmers. Each year, one $2,000 scholarship and one $1,000 scholarship are awarded to college upperclassmen (Sophomore–Senior status) pursuing a degree in agriculture or a related field at a Kentucky college or university. To date, the Young Farmer Scholarship program has awarded 28 scholarships totaling $41,000. We strongly encourage each Farm Bureau District to contribute an item for the silent auction, helping us continue to provide valuable scholarships to deserving young farmers. Every donation makes a lasting impact on the future of Kentucky agriculture.
