Abstracts
The TOPO meeting aims to bring together experts from a range of communities and, as such, the following is a partial list of topics of interest for the meeting:
Domains and domain walls
Skyrmions and chiral spin textures
Vortex, anti-vortex, and vertex structures in ferroics
Nanoelectronics using domain-wall logic
Spin torque, spin waves, and spintronics
Nanoscale characterization of ferroics
Topological defects in ferroelectrics, ferromagnets, multiferroics, and liquid crystals
Topological structures in soft matter, biology, etc.
Experimental, computational, modeling, and simulation of order parameter evolution in ferroics
The workshop will include invited presentations (~30), contributed presentations (~12), and a poster session. For contributed abstracts, the default will be a poster presentation; some contributed abstracts will be requested to be promoted to presentations at the behest of the organizing committee
