Welcome to the AISA Conference

31 October - 03 November 2024

The AISA Conference is for educators, leaders, co-professionals, sponsors and exhibitors who share a passion for international education in Africa. The 2024 AISA Conference is a members-only learning event and will take place from 31 October - 03 November 2024 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) in Cape Town, South Africa.

2024 AISA Conference Theme: Sawubona, Simunye: I see you, We are one.

Throughout the conference, international consultants and experts from our international schools will provide opportunities to explore innovations in teaching, learning and leading that are transforming schools and their communities. The conference objective is to create an inspiring professional learning event for attendees that celebrates AISA's united and shared sense of community, appreciates every individual's contribution and values the unique stories that make us who we are.

The professional learning, affinity groups, discovery workshops, exhibitions and social events will reinforce the sense of belonging for which AISA conferences are renowned.

AISA schools registering 10 delegates or more will receive a 10% discount on the total group registration cost.

We have designed deep learning experiences in our Pre-Conference Workshops, Deep Dives and Institutes, and opportunities to explore something new in our Discovery Workshops. The Affinity Groups unite those with shared identities and amplify voices. The AISA Conference will also have exciting networking opportunities at the Associate Members' exhibition, coffee breaks, cocktails and the Gala Dinner.

Invitation to Lead a Discovery Workshop or a Wellbeing for All Session

We invite school leaders, educators and co-professionals to submit a proposal to lead a 75-minute Discovery Workshop at the AISA Conference. This is an opportunity to spotlight initiatives that have positively impacted your school community, showcasing innovative practices and insights that can inspire other AISA member schools.

Fill in this form to submit your proposal to either lead a pre-conference wellbeing session or a discovery workshop at the main conference. Please note that if selected, facilitators will not receive a fee from AISA.
You will need to create login details and a facilitator profile. Next, add a new submission with the submission group “AISA School Member” and submission subgroup “Wellbeing for All Symposium Workshop” or "Discovery Workshop".

The conference will offer over 50 in-depth learning institutes, deep dives and workshops over 3 days. We have invited some of the world’s leading experts in a variety of issues and topics that will support your work in international education.

AISA conferences are well known for their strong emphasis on community. Built into the programme are opportunities for you to network with your colleagues, peers, our associate members and thought leaders in international education.

AISA offers Associate Members the exclusive opportunity to participate in our annual conferences to connect with member schools and to showcase their products and services. Conference sponsorship opportunities are also available.
