Welcome to the 2024 District Leader Training information website. Please take a moment to review this website for pertinent information. Additional resources such as a detailed agenda and training materials will be provided closer to the training date. The deadline to register is June 30, 2024.

District Leader Training is an excellent opportunity to connect with other District leaders, share ideas and best practices, and develop core leadership skills.

Region Realignment

To ensure optimal support for all clubs regardless of geography, the Board voted to realign the regions and reduce the number of regions in the Americas from nine to seven while increasing the number of regions in the rest of the world from five to seven. As a result, certain Districts will be reassigned to a new region. This realignment will take effect on July 1, 2024.

Travel Day (Arrivals)
Please plan to arrive no later than Sunday, August 11, to participate in District Leader Training. If you are traveling internationally, you may want to consider arriving by Saturday, August 10, to adjust to the time change. On both Monday, August 12, and Tuesday, August 13, District Leader Training sessions begin promptly at 8 a.m. (after breakfast) and end by no later than 6 p.m.

Travel Day (Departures)
If you plan to depart following the conclusion of District Leader Training, please ensure your flight is booked after 10 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13, or at your leisure on Wednesday, August 14. Otherwise, if you plan to extend your stay to attend the 2024 International Convention, please plan to depart by Sunday, August 18.

Attire

The attire for District Leader Training is business casual, and attendees typically wear slacks, dress pants, business shirts, blouses, skirts, or dresses. The attire for Opening Ceremonies is business casual; however, attendees are encouraged to wear traditional clothing of their home countries. The attire for President’s Inauguration and Celebration is semi-formal, and attendees typically wear suits, tuxedos, dresses, gowns, or other semi-formal attire. The attire for all other convention events is business casual.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and two (2) refreshment breaks will be provided during training on Day One and Day Two of District Leader Training.
