2025 REGIONAL TEACHER WORKSHOPS

A total of six hours of professional development may be earned depending on school district approval. Educators and pre-service teachers will be inspired by our featured presenters. This year’s workshops will highlight several agricultural and gardening lessons that are designed to broaden your students’ educational experiences and deepen their desire to learn. Whether you are a first-time attendee or a past participant, we have something for you. Each year we strive to share fresh ideas that will aid your efforts as you incorporate agriculture in your classroom.

ATTENTION ALL JCPS EDUCATORS 

JCPS Director of Professional Development and Learning, Dr. Rajwinder Kaur, has asked us to share the following guidance regarding PD credit eligibility for those registered to attend this year’s Regional Teacher Workshops:

“This session will only be approved for PD credit for staff whose job responsibilities align with agricultural learning and session objectives. This may include staff who are teaching an agricultural class, farm science course, or are sponsors of a farming/gardening club. Staff members outside of these content areas should confirm with their site leader that participation in this PD aligns with their professional growth goals and enhances classroom responsibilities.”

We strongly encourage interested educators to speak with their site leaders and request approval to attend, particularly if the content supports their instructional goals and PD plans.
