When I register should I use proper spelling for all information?
Yes, match your passport! If you use the wrong case or put in the wrong spelling of your name, address, or anything else, then everything will be incorrect subsequently. For example: If your name is McGregor then use a capital “G” when you register. Your name on your airline ticket must match your name in your passport EXACTLY.

When should I plan to arrive and depart?
Please plan to arrive by 5:00 PM on January 10 and depart any time on January 13.

How can I make my hotel reservations?
You are required to stay at the Hilton Cancun to attend the convention. To avoid any confusion, the best method to make your reservation is through your convention registration. Once your ACH has gone through from PSB, your room has been reserved. Please refer back to your confirmation email and contact Melanie Kelman at melanie@joshbrowncompany.com directly with any issues.

How can I change or update my existing hotel reservation?
All hotel reservations are non-refundable, but if you need to make updates, please contact Melanie Kelman at melanie@joshbrowncompany.com with your reservation number (if received) and the changes you are needing to be made.

What is the hotel cancellation policy?
Hotel reservations are non-refundable.

How can I make a reservation for our group’s pre or post nights?
Our room block is from January 10 – January 13. There are limited rooms available before and after the conference. If you plan to extend your stay, please book your room ASAP as rooms are on a first-come, first-served basis.

How far is it from the airport to the hotel?
It is a 25-minute ride to the hotel.

What are the country entry requirements?
All guests must be in possession of a valid government-issued Passport to present upon airline check-in, to pass through TSA security, and to enter Mexico. For non-US residents or citizens, please check your country embassy for entry to re-enter the US from Mexico. It is your sole responsibility to obtain all necessary documents for travel within the United States and to Mexico. If you do require a visa, contact your local Consulate for assistance. Please obtain or renew your passports early. Your passport must not expire before 6 months after your last day in Mexico, in our case July 12, 2025. If your passport expires before then, we recommend you renew it immediately. If your Consulate indicates that you will require a visa letter of invitation, contact PSB for assistance. Please note that PSB will not be providing reimbursement for passport fees nor visa fees.

How can I be contacted while I am away?

What is the dress code?
Resort Casual. The convention center might be little cold so be prepared with a light jacket if needed.

What will the weather be like during the convention?
Temperatures in early January average low-80°s during the day and low-70°s during the evening. You can expect warm, sunny days with plenty of sunshine ideally. Sunrise will be about 7:30 AM and sunset at 6:30 PM.

Is the water safe to drink?
You will have bottled water in your room that is safe for drinking.

What is the official language?
Spanish, but English is widely spoken.
