General FAQs

Is there a discount for group registrations?

Yes! Groups of three or more save $100 on each registration. Here are the rules:

  • All registrations in the group must be processed at the same time.
  • The discount will be automatically applied once the minimum number of registrations is achieved.
  • The same organization must employ all individuals in the group.
  • The group discount can’t be combined with other offers or discounts.
  • The group discount is available as of August 31, 2024.

 

What is included in a guest registration?

A guest registration fee includes participation in all networking events, including the early arriver activity, welcome reception, and client appreciation party. Guest registrations are required to ensure correct counts for food, transportation, etc.

Guests must be 21 or older, with a limit of one guest per registered attendee.

 

Can I transfer my registration to a colleague if my plans change?

Yes! To transfer an existing registration to a colleague, please contact iConnect@KUBRA.com.

 

Can I carry my registration to 2025 if I can’t attend this year’s iConnect?

Unfortunately, no. Registration fees are subject to change from year to year, so we cannot hold a credit.

 

What if I need to cancel my registration?

KUBRA will issue a full refund for canceled registrations received by no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on October 11, 2024. Cancellations must be communicated by email to iConnect@KUBRA.com. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations received after the deadline. No-shows will forfeit their registration fee.

KUBRA has secured a preferred rate of $295.00 (USD) per night at Omni Austin Hotel Downtown. With the addition of applicable taxes and fees, the grand total nightly rate is approximately $324.50 (USD). Preferred pricing is available until Friday, October 11, 2024.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown is fully accessible.

  • Meeting rooms:
    • Meeting rooms are located on the hotel's second floor (Northside) and can be conveniently accessed via the central staircase in the Atrium or one of three guest elevators.
    • Breakfasts and lunches will be served in the ground-floor Atrium. Attendees can travel between the second-floor meeting rooms and the ground-floor atrium via the guest room elevators (south) or the office tower elevators (north).
    • Fully accessible washrooms are available throughout the hotel’s meeting spaces and common areas.
  • ADA-compliant guest rooms:
    • Accessible hotel rooms are available for attendees who require ADA features.
    • Accessible bathrooms have a roll-in shower with a hand-held shower head, grab bars, and feature enlarged door openings. The toilet with grab bars and the sink are no higher than 29 inches from the floor.
    • Omni also provides visual notification for the hotel alarm system, door, and phone.

 

Once at the Omni, where can I go to get my accessibility questions answered?

Ahead of the event, please email our team at iConnect@KUBRA.com. Once you arrive, please direct questions to any KUBRA staff or drop by the check-in/welcome desk in the foyer of the Bridge Ballroom. Omni staff are also available to assist you onsite.

 

Are children allowed at iConnect?

The age guidance for attending iConnect and all networking events is 18+. If you need to bring a child, please contact us at iConnect@KUBRA.com. Guests under 18 are not allowed at the Welcome Reception or Client Appreciation Party.

 

Will service animals be allowed at iConnect?

Yes, trained service animals are welcome. Please contact us at iConnect@KUBRA.com to let us know if you are bringing a service animal.

 

Will printed materials be provided?

Yes, a printed program with an agenda will be distributed to all attendees as they check in at the iConnect Welcome Desk. Large-format daily agendas will also be printed and posted throughout the meeting space.

 

Will there be reserved seating if I need accessibility?

We will have dedicated seating areas for individuals with mobility devices and accessibility needs. Please ask any onsite KUBRA staff to point you to the right location.

 

I require a mobility device; how will this be handled?

Wheelchairs, 3-wheel electric scooters, walkers, canes, and crutches are allowed and will be reasonably accommodated. Please note that iConnect does not provide push services for attendees. For more information, please contact us at iConnect@KUBRA.com.

 

I require a companion, interpreter (ASL or other), or personal attendant. Will they be allowed to attend iConnect?

Attendees who require the assistance of an attendant, interpreter (ASL or other), or companion can contact us at iConnect@KUBRA.com to request a complimentary registration.

 

I have special dietary requirements. What are my options?

Dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free, as well as seafood and peanut/tree nut allergies, will be accounted for during menu selections, and all food will be labeled accordingly. Please be sure to disclose all dietary requirements and food allergies when you register for iConnect.

 

I require a Kosher or Halal meal. What are my options? 

Kosher and Halal meals are available by request only. Please contact us at iConnect@KUBRA.com.

 

Networking Events (Offsite Venues): Early Arriver, Welcome Reception, and Client Appreciation Party

The welcome reception on Monday, October 28, 2024, will be held at Speakeasy Austin, and the client appreciation party on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, will be held at Central Machine Works (CMW). Both entertainment venues are fully accessible, and trained service animals will be accommodated.

Transportation to and from both locations will be provided. If you require special accommodation, such as wheelchair-accessible transportation, or will bring a service animal, please contact us at iConnect@KUBRA.com.

For attendees participating in the Austin Duck Adventure early arriver activity, it is important to note that the Hydra-Terra vehicles are NOT wheelchair or scooter-accessible.
