HALF DAY TOUR OF GIVERNY

If you love Impressionist art, this tour will surely check off a spot on your bucket list! In Giverny, you’ll explore the home and gardens of Claude Monet, who moved to this oasis on the border of Normandy and the Ile de France in 1883 at the age of 43 and continued to paint here until his death 43 years later. The house and grounds that inspired the master’s many famous paintings, including countless water lily compositions, is now 
home to the Claude Money Foundation. It was here that Monet hosted many of the celebrated artists of his era, including Cézanne, Rodin, Renoir, Debussy and Clemenceau. As you tour the house and stroll through the gardens, you’ll see how Monet composed the patterns of landscapes and flowers just as he wanted to paint them. You also will see his favorite subjects – the Japanese bridge, the man-made lake covered in water lilies and other flora – and the many idyllic scenes captured forever by the artist, now displayed in museums around the world. Lunch is included.

HALF DAY WALKING TOUR OF MONTMARTRE

A tour through the cobbled streets of Bohemian Paris. The "Butte", which is the local name for Montmartre, is the part of Paris most full of contrasts: anonymous boulevards run close to delightful village streets and courts, steep stone steps lead to open terraces. Famous spots to be seen include the famous vineyard which produces the most revolting wine you can taste, sold traditionally every year for charity; the avenue Junot which houses some of our famous contemporary actors and artists and the Moulin de la Galette, a former dance hall which inspired many famous painters such as Van Gogh, Renoir and Picasso.  The tour includes a stroll through the artists’ square Place du Tertre and a look at the Moulin de la Galette. Lunch is included.

FULL DAY TOUR OF CHAMPAGNE

Champagne is a name of great resonance, conjuring up images of celebration and the world-famous cathedral of Reims. Yet beyond the glamour lies an unspoiled rural idyll of landscapes. The so-called ""sacred triangle of champagne,"" linking Epernay, Reims and Châlons-sur-Marne, is like a magnet for wine lovers. This tour is the occasion to see two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the vineyards have been inscribed since July 2015 and the 
Cathedral of Reims since 1991. A full day tour to this region will include a visit to cellars and Champagne tasting, lunch in a local brasserie in Reims, and visit of Reims in the afternoon. Lunch is included.
