Future Earth Inclusivity and Diversity Participation Funding

The Diversity funding is designed for Early Career Researchers (ECRs, with their latest degree no more than 10 years ago) or those from Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs).

You can improve your chances of being funded by doing the following:

• Ask for no more than 5000 Euros. Application requests outside this limit will be immediately disregarded. Eligible expenses can be seen on the application website.
• Join the Future Earth Early Career Research Group in the Future Earth Portal: https://members.futureearth.org/topics/22491/feed.
• Mention that your application is to attend the PECS-3 conference, and that PECS is a Global Research Network (GRN) of Future Earth.
• Explain how attending this conference will help you develop important relationships for your professional development, and how attending and developing these relationships will benefit your development as a professional with your specific identity or equity group.
• If you feel comfortable disclosing, highlight if you belong to any or several of these target equity groups:
  •  People of Color 
  • Indigenous Peoples
  • LGBTQIA+ People
  • Women

Note: Although applications from individuals who are both ECR and from an LMIC will be prioritized, we still invite people who belong to just one group or the other to apply. A good application with a strong motivation for how this conference will help your development still has a chance of funding.
