Is there a registration deadline?
Yes. The registration deadline for all attendees is Friday, April 5 at 11:59 PM EST.

Who can register for the Summit?
Registration for the Summit is by invitation only. Please refer to the link shared with you by Mariana Peña. 

Will there be a virtual component to the Health Equity Summit?
No. As of now, the Summit will be held in-person only and sessions will not be available to stream online.

Where will the Health Equity Summit take place?
The Summit will take place at the Westin New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

Is there a registration fee?
No. There is no cost to register for the Summit, however, registration is by invitation only.

When will I receive my hotel confirmation number?
Attendees, whose accommodations are funded and managed by NBDF, will receive hotel confirmation numbers two weeks before the Summit. Please check your spam or junk mail or contact Mariana Peña at mpena@hemophilia.org if you do not receive your hotel confirmation number.

What health and safety precautions are being taken to prevent the spread of infectious diseases including, but are not limited to, illnesses such as COVID, influenza, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), mpox, and other contagious diseases?

In alignment with NBDF's duty of care and our role as an event host, we follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and comply with the legal mandates of New Orleans, Louisiana for the Summit.

Following recent updates in public health guidance, NBDF no longer mandates proof of vaccination or negative tests specific to any one disease (such as COVID-19) for attendance at the Health Equity Summit.
