Getting Between PDX and Portland POINT Bus Stations

As the POINT bus does not pickup at Portland International Airport (PDX), conference attendees will need to transfer to the POINT station of their choice.

Portland Union Station
It is possible to get to Union Station from PDX using the MAX Light Rail Red Line. Disembark at the Old Town/Chinatown Station, then walk 7 blocks. The trip should take approximately 40–45 minutes costs $2.80/adult.

Attendees may also consider utilizing rideshare services, such as Uber or Lyft for a direct transfer to the Station.

Beaverton Sunset Transit Center
The MAX Light Rail Red Line will take riders directly from PDX to the Beaverton Sunset Transit Center. This is perhaps the simplest route, as it does not require additional walking. The trip should take approximately 55–60 minutes and costs $2.80/adult.

MAX Light Rail trains depart PDX every 15–20 minutes. Maps, schedules and fees may be found on the TriMet website. There is a ticket machine located on the lower level of the airport, next to the south baggage claim area (turn right at the base of the escalator). From there, follow the signs to the train platform (outside).
