The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and community health partners invite you for a special chat about cancer. This event is for everyone, for patients, caregivers, health workers and the community to learn about blood cancers in English and Spanish that disproportionately affect our communities.
Black Americans have double the risk of being diagnosed with myeloma, a blood cancer. Hispanic children and adolescents have the highest rates of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a blood cancer, of any racial and ethnic group in the US. Let’s talk about the symptoms and how to be your best advocate if you or your family member is affected by cancer.
