A gathering and conference on the Creative Economy

WESTAF and partners present the 2024 Creative Vitality Summit

April 9 - 10, 2024

Now in its third year, the Creative Vitality™ Summit will bring together artists, designers, technologists, arts advocates, and policy experts to consider the impact of new economic models, new forms of investment, and technological change in arts, culture, and the creative economy.

The Creative Vitality Summit is hosted by the Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF), a nonprofit regional arts organization with deep experience studying the impact of arts and the creative economy, particularly in investigating and comparing regional creative vitality through the CV Summit.

Recently, WESTAF completed a major multi-year creative economy strategic planning process for the Washington State Department of Commerce and a national creative economy and economic recovery study with the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies The 2024 summit will feature a range of experts exploring topics including artists and extended reality (XR); creative economy policymaking in state and regions; transforming investments in artists, creative workers, and communities; artificial intelligence and the creative economy, and more. Discussions will be led by diverse and dynamic practitioners and field experts, many of whom are artists and creative entrepreneurs themselves. Thank you to our partners MUD Foundation, rootoftwo, and Near Future Laboratory for their partnership on the design of this year’s Summit.
