Program Highlights
Blood cancer affects individuals of all kinds, and having access to the right resources can be difficult. Join The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) for this free education program to learn more about blood cancers and develop a better understanding of how to navigate the financial impact of a cancer diagnosis. Patients and caregivers impacted by blood cancer will have the opportunity to connect with local healthcare professionals and:
- Gain knowledge about multiple myeloma
- Learn about cancer and finances
- Understand methods for gathering reliable information
- Learn about resources available through LLS and community partners
This event is funded through the LLS Myeloma Link initiative and will provide helpful tips and strategies for patients dealing with all forms of blood cancers, with a particular emphasis on multiple myeloma. Black Americans carry twice the risk of any other race or ethnicity to develop myeloma, and LLS is dedicated to addressing health disparities surrounding myeloma – and all forms of blood cancer. We hope you can join us to access important resources and learn more about being an engaged participant in your care!
