OVERVIEW

Despite its high prevalence worldwide, COPD often remains undiagnosed and untreated. This limits individuals’ access to appropriate care and treatment. It has been shown that early diagnosis and regular assessment of symptom severity can improve patient outcomes, quality of life, and survival. In this webinar, Dr Nicola Hanania will discuss how to assess COPD symptom severity, how to identify patients who are not being adequately controlled with maintenance therapy, and how emerging COPD treatments can serve the unmet therapeutic needs of patients with COPD.
