Government Conference Fee

 There is an attendance fee of $475 for U.S. government employees that must be paid prior to the event. Of note, there is no cost for government contractors, private sector, or portfolio company representatives to attend the IQT CEO Summit.

When and where does the event take place?

The 2024 IQT CEO Summit will kick-off the afternoon Tuesday, May 7, 2024 and conclude the evening of Thursday, May 9, 2024. The event will be hosted at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, CA.


Where should I stay?

The Renaissance Esmeralda has two blocks available for CEO Summit attendees. The blocks will close on Monday, April 8. Of note, we highly encourage booking your room as soon as possible as the hotel blocks fill quickly.  

Renaissance Esmeralda Corporate Block at $293 per night.

Renaissance Esmeralda Government Block at $180 per night. Note, the government rate is not set at the federal per diem but at a slightly higher rate that could guarantee the larger number of rooms that we were able to secure for the government block. 

Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Corporate Block at $319 per night.

How do I get to the event?

The closest airport to the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa is the Palm Springs International Airport (PSP). The Ontario International Airport (ONT) is 86 miles away, and the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is located 140 miles away from the venue. 


Where do I pick up my badge for the Summit once I've arrived in Indian Wells?

Onsite badge pick up will be located in the East Alcove - Registration Foyer on the Terrace Level of the Renaissance Esmeralda. 


What will I need to bring to check-in at registration?

You will need a valid government issued photo ID to check-in at registration. You will NOT need to know your registration or confirmation number, or have your confirmation e-mail on hand. Simply have an ID ready.


What is the appropriate attire?

Attire for the Summit is Smart Casual, slightly less formal than business casual. Examples of Smart Casual can be found here


Where can I receive a copy of the agenda?

A basic agenda can be found in the agenda section above. Please contact events@iqt.org with any other agenda specific questions.


Can I publicize my participation in the IQT CEO Summit?

No, this is a private event and your participation should not be publicized. If you have any questions, please contact IQT Events at events@iqt.org.


May I bring materials from the IQT CEO Summit home with me?

You are welcome to bring the event guide home or back to your office. However, you may dispose of any unused materials in the secured disposal bins located throughout the event grounds. 


I am a non-U.S. citizen. Can I still attend the IQT CEO Summit? 

Yes, the deadline to register for the event is April 8. Due to additional information required by security, we encourage non-U.S. citizens and/or multinationals to registration as early as possible to allow time for security vettings. Please reach out to events@iqt.org with any questions.


If I am a U.S. government attendee who can no longer attend, am I able to receive a refund? 

We are able to cancel registrations and issue refunds for those no longer able to attend the event. Of note, if you cancel and require a refund after Friday, April 14, we will process your refund after May 15. Please reach out to events@iqt.org with any questions.


Will any elements of the IQT CEO Summit be hosted virtually?

No, the IQT CEO Summit will only be hosted in-person.


Could the event be cancelled due to COVID-19?

We will proceed to host IQT CEO Summit 2024 in Indian Wells unless the U.S. Government requires cancellation. We will work closely with the Renaissance Esmeralda to ensure we are following all local guidelines. 


What COVID-19 safety measures will be in place at the event? 

As we did in 2023, we will work with local health authorities to plan for on-site precautions and mitigations applicable or necessary for IQT CEO Summit 2024 (including relating to COVID-19 and associated variants) and will keep you informed as the event approaches. 

Tech Pavilion Info & FAQs

The Tech Pavilion is a valuable component of the event with exhibits and demonstrations from 150 of our portfolio companies. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and converse with a variety of companies, spanning cybersecurity, big data analytics, machine learning, remote intelligence, and more.

Who from our company is expected to attend and exhibit?

You are invited to bring up to three total attendees to set up and staff your booth. Please have each individual from your company register for the event by Monday, April 8Of note, we encourage non-U.S. citizens and multinationals to register as early as possible to allow time for security vettings. Please reach out to iqtceosummit@linderglobal.com with any questions.

What will be provided for me at the booth?

Each company is provided with a standard 8'x6' booth, a 6-foot table (42" high, 24" deep), two stools, a flat panel monitor with HDMI connectivity and cables, a draped back wall with company branded signage, and one standard power strip. An example of a booth setup can be found here

We strive to maintain a cohesive look and feel throughout the Tech Pavilion to ensure that your technologies are the focal point of the event. We cannot provide and ask that you refrain from bringing, larger exhibit spaces, pop-up banners larger than 2'x5', signage, or larger monitors. Thank you for your understanding!

Will there be Internet access?

IQT will host a private, wireless network for demonstrations requiring Internet. Given the limited connectivity at the venue, we highly recommend preparing a video demo ahead of time, rather than depending on internet-based presentations. 


Am I able to leave materials at my booth overnight after set-up?

Yes, the Tech Pavilion will be locked and guarded each night by private security staff. Demonstration equipment can be left inside as necessary. PLEASE NOTE, anything you plan to store or keep at your booth must be stored in your own receptacles. We will not provide any containers of any kind for storage. 


What should we bring to have at our booth?

You are encouraged to bring marketing materials and collateral, small swag items and giveaways, one-pagers, or other hand-outs. Please do not bring additional monitors, signage, pop-up banners larger than 2'x5', or anything that won't fit within your booth. Please also keep in mind that it is advised that any gifts be valued at $20 or less. For your planning purposes, we are expecting about 1200 total attendees at the event.


Can I ship materials to the venue ahead of time?

You are welcome to ship materials and collateral to and from the venue via our exposition company. The exhibitor kit with details on how to ship to and from the venue will be available closer to the event.
