About IFMA COEX 2024

The food-away-from-home industry continues to evolve. Business norms are in flux. Consumer purchasing patterns are too. How do restaurant chains keep up? At COEX, we intend to explore all that’s changing and bring emerging new concepts and solutions from across our industry directly to you. You’ll gain insights into navigating the ever-evolving food-away-from-home ecosystem, fostering connections, and staying ahead in a landscape where evolution is not just acknowledged but actively engaged. The IFMA Chain Operators EXchange (COEX) is the food-away-from-home industry’s only conference truly developed by operators, for operators. With an agenda built by a committee of 40+ chains of all sizes, the program will provide unexpected insights and proven best practices across the chain operator landscape, including within supply chain, marketing, and culinary disciplines.  

You’ll hear from speakers who are experts in leveraging change and understanding the consumer mindset. You’ll hear from practitioners who will share their perspectives and potentially change yours. You’ll experience and taste new menu innovations at the IFMA Menu-a-thon.  

COEX boasts a two-to-one supplier to operator audience – so the networking opportunities will be phenomenal. You'll get to interact face-to-face with existing and potential business partners through speed meetings and scheduled one-on-ones. 

We'll be in Kansas City, MO at the heart of America’s vibrant Midwest. From the iconic BBQ scene to world-class museums and jazz clubs, Kansas City promises an unforgettable experience.

IFMA COEX registration includes:  

  • Registration for one attendee.

  • All in-person conference education sessions, receptions, meal functions and activities.

  • Please note: activity sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis; some activities may have limited availability.  

*IFMA provides operators with complimentary registration and accommodations in exchange for service. Operators currently affiliated with an operator company and who participate in Speed Meetings and 1:1 Scheduled Meetings are qualified. Those not participating in these activities or not currently affiliated with an operator company are subject to a $795 registration fee. 

IFMA reviews all operator registrations for approval to ensure that they adhere to standards established by the Board of Directors. IFMA reserves the right to request additional information and may decline any non-qualified operator registrations.

Cancellation/Transfer Policy 

Written cancellations must be submitted by February 2, 2024 to receive a full refund. After the cancellation deadline, all registration fees are final and nonrefundable. If you cannot attend the conference, you may transfer your registration to another individual within your company.
