No Lice Policy
NBDF has a NO LICE POLICY consistent with the CDC guideline on lice prevention. Each child will be screened for lice upon arrival at the Kids Program check-in (times listed above). The “NO NITS” policy means that even if a child has recently been treated for lice but is still found to have nits (eggs) or dead lice in the hair, the child will not be allowed into the Kids Program and parents will be responsible for their children throughout the Conference.
Infectious Disease Duty of Care
In light of evolving public health guidelines, NBDF will no longer require proof of vaccination or negative tests for specific diseases like COVID-19 to attend the BDC. However, all participants are STRONGLY encouraged to stay “up to date” with vaccinations for prevalent infectious diseases, including any applicable boosters. Should this policy change, we will update our Infectious Disease Duty of Care found on this page.
Day Care
Attendees who require day care outside of the above Kid’s Program for NBDF Bleeding Disorders Conference are invited to make arrangements on their own.
