GSB Wellness Day Fall 2023

12/12/2023

The Gabelli School of Business Office of Graduate Advising and Student Engagement invites you to a day of wellness.

With finals coming up and the Spring term coming to a close, it is a very stressful time.  The goal of these workshops and presentations is to promote well-being and mindfulness, and to learn better ways to treat the mind, body, and brain. Several of the workshops will be hands-on, so get ready to roll up your sleeves for some impactful activities.

GSB graduate students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend.

This event will be held in person in the South Lounge, Lowenstein Building on the Lincoln Center Campus.

Procrastinating the Procrastination

Description

This is a focus skills workshop on how to turn off TikTok and finish that homework assignment. This workshop will highlight focus skill-building from science, student success stories, and personal anecdotes about the difficulty of finishing a dissertation through the diversions from work, family, life, and Netflix.

Time: 1:00 PM - 1:50 PM

Dr. Kate Shea Kennon
