Join us for a symposium on current clinical practice gaps related to heart failure designed to encourage the exchange of ideas between leaders in the field and attendees.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This activity is intended for cardiologists, primary care physicians, diabetologists/endocrinologists, emergency medicine physicians, nurse, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants involved in the care of patients with or at risk for cardiovascular disease or cardiometabolic disorders.

GOAL STATEMENT

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to optimize patient outcomes with improved ability to convey the debilitating impact of congestion in heart failure (HF), recognize the benefits and limitations of standard of care (SOC) treatment for fluid overload in patients with worsening HF, evaluate emerging therapeutic innovations to address unmet medical needs in treating congestion in worsening HF, and identify the role of the interprofessional team in diuresis management and integration of solutions into practice for appropriate patients.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
