Every year, the Elite Support team recognizes individuals and dealerships who demonstrate exemplary effort and results in their Continuous Improvement activities. Judgment is made by both Elite Support Managers and Facilitators, or network nominations based on observations made during in-dealership visits, followed by team discussion. The following awards are presented each year at the CIC Summit to those who uphold the highest standards of what it means to be Elite.
WOW Award
Presented to Level 1 or new Level 2 CICs from in-process or newly certified dealerships for excellence in implementing the 5S process. Aptly named, this award is earned by CICs who produce a “wow” factor by applying what they learn during CIC Level 1 training to improve cleanliness and organization in the dealership and sustain those improvements by consistently using 5S.
Elephant Award
Presented to CICs who demonstrate outstanding results by using the Change Management principles and tools learned in CIC Level 2 training to improve processes. CICs who earn this award have proven they can “eat the elephant one bite at a time” by investing in the productivity of front-line employees, conducting Team Huddles on a consistent basis, using Structured Problem-Solving methodologies and improving the quality of CI Events.
Change Management Award
Presented to dealership Change Management Teams for demonstrated excellence in working together to identify, discuss and address Opportunities for Improvement. The Change Management Team award recognizes Change Management Teams who have attended Change Management Team Training (CMTT) and made full use of all CI tools to implement innovative, sustainable improvements in their dealerships.
Summit Club Award
The Summit Club Award is earned by accomplished CICs who continually embody Elite Support ideals and are regarded as network mentors. They consistently demonstrate their role as a premier leader in the network, live Elite Support ideals, implementing CI, and investing in strong processes and stronger people. The dealership can’t have any certification strikes in order for a CIC to ascend to the Summit Club.
NEW! CIC and CXA Collaboration Award
This award celebrates the excellence displayed by CXAs and CICs who have effectively collaborated to identify, discuss, and address areas for improvement. The criteria for this award includes showcasing proficiency in Change Management principles and utilizing tools for process improvement to the benefit of our customers. Additionally, CXAs/CICs should demonstrate outstanding utilization of Team Huddles, proficiency in Structured Problem-Solving techniques, and the effective implementation of high-quality Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.
