On Ice
A session dedicated to developing on-ice hockey skills. Players will participate in a series of level-specific drills developed by Hockey Canada's Performance Development team and experienced hockey coaches.
Off Ice
A dryland session focused on hockey-specific cross-training and skills.
Player Classroom Session
An off-ice session led by professional hockey players, coaches and varsity athletes*, where players will have the opportunity to learn from them about careers in hockey and the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship, and participate in a fun team-building activity.
*Session facilitators will vary according to location and availability.
CCM Hockey Equipment
As the official equipment partner of Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest, CCM is proud to provide equipment for the event free of charge to all Learn to Play participants to ensure that the game is accessible to all. Players in all Girls HockeyFest programs will receive a CCM jersey as well as other goodies to take home!
Snack Packs provided by Sobeys
To help fuel our players and their active lifestyles, Sobeys will provide snack packs and beverages to all Scotiabank Girls Hockeyfest participants.
Registration for Girls HockeyFest will be done entirely online on a first come, first served basis. Please stay tuned to the Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest website for more information and registration dates as they are announced! If your desired program is full, you will have the opportunity to add yourself to the waitlist and may be registered closer to the event date if spaces become available.
