Welcome to the ICDDPS-5!

On behalf of the Executive Scientific Committee, we are excited to welcome you to the 5th International Conference on Data-Driven Plasma Science (ICDDPS-5) which will be held at the University of California, Berkleley from August 12 to 16, 2024. ICDDPS-5 is intended to be the premier forum for researchers from academia and industry to discuss current status and future directions of artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to plasma science and technologies, including but not limited to, plasma processing and nuclear fusion. We hope you will be able to join us in beautiful Northern California and looking foward to welcoming you all in person.

ICDDPS is an international conference that focuses on the application of data science in a broad sense, including artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), to plasma science. Since the first international conference was held in York, UK in 2018, it has been held almost every year, except during the pandemic years. ICDDPS-4 was held in Okinawa, Japan.
