OVERVIEW
Multiple treatment options today provide the opportunity of improved outcomes for many patients diagnosed with metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC), or metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). With the growing number of efficacious therapies inevitably comes complexity in treatment planning. In this live symposium, experts in the care of patients with prostate cancer will utilize case studies to outline the selection of systemic therapy guided by cytogenetic or molecular testing and the appropriate follow-up using various tumor imaging modalities and/or biomarker assessment, outline emerging clinical data, and discuss understanding and prioritizing working as a multidisciplinary team to develop and institute care plans for patients with mCRPC or mHSPC.
GOAL STATEMENT
The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to care for patients with prostate cancer using novel therapies and to utilize the multidisciplinary team approach to enhance prostate cancer management.
