At the end of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Apply cultural elements to effectively treat and manage patients with diabetes from ethnically diverse backgrounds
  • Identify and utilize community-based resources in ethnically diverse communities to extend the reach of care to patients with diabetes
  • Treat patients with diabetes with the most current and appropriate medications
