AG25 Senior Pledge Campaign: FAQs

What is AG25?

AG25 is the Class of 2025’s senior class pledge campaign, an effort that encourages all classmates to pay forward the transformative Princeton experience to current and future students in the form of a five-year pledge to support Annual Giving.

Why should I participate in AG25?

The Annual Giving fund is comprised of unrestricted dollars given each year by alumni, parents, and friends. Annual Giving donations are separate from the endowment and spent in the current year to support the University’s highest priorities:

  • Access and affordability by guaranteeing no-loan financial aid to all students who need it.
  • Ethos of service by launching new programs such as Learning and Education through Service (LENS) so that every student can secure a paid summer service internship.
  • Student health and wellness by providing a critical contribution to expand programming and staff in University Health Services.
  • Excellence in teaching and innovative research by recruiting world-class faculty.

How else can I be involved with AG25?

Volunteering for AG25 is a great way to stay connected with fellow seniors and keep the Class spirit of 2025 thriving! As a volunteer, you will reach out to classmates and friends during the campaign and ask them to consider making a pledge to Annual Giving. The pledge is non-binding, and there are tons of perks for participating!

How much should I give next year?

Contribute an amount that is meaningful to you: the price of dinner out with friends, the cost of a coffee, or even our class numerals – $20.25. AG25 stresses participation over gift size; it is the collective spirit of giving back through Annual Giving that unites Princetonians of all generations.

When should I make my first gift?

Start your perfect giving record and complete your pledge by making your Annual Giving gift during the Class of 2025’s first reunion campaign (at any time between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026).

Why should I give to Annual Giving when my gift can be more impactful at another organization?

Gifts to Annual Giving should never be at the exclusion of your support to other organizations; however, it is hoped that Princeton will have a place on your list of priorities.

Annual Giving participation is a long-standing alumni tradition and represents a vote of confidence for Princeton and affirmation for what the University seeks to accomplish through its mission of teaching, research and service.

Gifts of all sizes make a meaningful impact on Princeton students today and generations to come. Last year, all Annual Giving gifts of $25 or less totaled $125,018, and all Annual Giving gifts of $50 or less totaled $373,001.
