General Conference Information:

Q: What are the dates for The Summit?
A: The 2024 Summit is April 21-23, 2024.

Q: What is the location of The Summit?
A: The 2024 Summit will be at The Hyatt Regency Frisco, 2615 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75034.

Q: What is the cost to attend The Summit?
A: The super early-bird registration rate of $249 goes from October 12, 2023, through December 31, 2023. The early-bird registration rate of $300 goes from January 1, 2024, through March 9, 2024. The standard rate of $350 begins March 10, 2024.

Q: What is included in my Summit registration fee?
A: Your registration fee includes all conference events and sessions, as well as breakfast, lunch, and snacks on both days. Attendees are responsible for covering their own dinner, lodging, and transportation.

Q: What is the last day that I can register for The Summit?
A: The last day to register for The Summit is April 9, 2024. 

Q: What is the registration cancellation policy for The Summit?
A: The Summit registration fee will be refunded only if we receive your written cancellation notice via email to eventinfo@guidestone.org by April 8, 2024. Cancellation requests made after April 8, 2024, will not be eligible for a refund.

If you have registered but cannot attend, you may send someone else in your place at no additional cost. Please notify GuideStone^® of any modifications to your registration by emailing eventinfo@guidestone.org.

Cancellations for lodging at The Hyatt Regency Frisco must be made through the hotel directly.

Q: Can I transfer my registration to someone else for The Summit?
A: If you have registered but cannot attend, you may send someone else in your place at no additional cost. Please notify us of any modifications to your registration by emailing eventinfo@guidestone.org.

Q: I cannot locate my registration confirmation email for The Summit. What should I do?
A: You may access your registration information from your initial invitation email. If that is not possible, you can also email eventinfo@guidestone.org for assistance.

Q: May I change my breakout session selections for The Summit?
A: Yes! Log back into the registration page any time before The Summit begins on April 21, 2024, and we will be happy to update your information.

Q: How do I get an invoice for my registration for The Summit?
A: You will receive a confirmation email with your conference receipt. If you need anything other than that, please email us at eventinfo@guidestone.org.

Q: What is the weather like in Dallas in April?
A: The average temperature is around 77°F in April.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Most people will be dressed in smart casual attire. Even though it can be warm outside, it tends to be cool inside the event venue, so dress accordingly!

Q: What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?
A: Please notify us eventinfo@guidestone.org of your needs, and we will attempt to provide alternatives.

Q: What options are available for dining outside of The Summit?
A: There are plenty of dining options around the event venue! The Hyatt Regency hotel is inside Stonebriar Mall, which has multiple dining options ranging from fast food to gourmet restaurants.

In addition, the area around The Hyatt Regency Frisco is home to dozens of restaurants with various dining options. Plus, you are always only an Uber or Lyft ride away from any food you may like. Check out some recommendations here.

Q: How do I book my hotel room?
A: Please use this link to book your hotel room. The room block will close on Monday, April 1, 2024.

Q: How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
A: The Hyatt Regency Frisco does not provide a shuttle service. You can rent a car, use a taxi or use a ride-sharing service - such as Uber or Lyft.

Q: Which airport should I fly into?
A: You can choose from either Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) or Dallas Love Field (DAL).

Driving directions from DFW to The Hyatt Regency Frisco:

• Take State Hwy 121 North to the Parkwood Blvd exit
• Turn left onto Parkwood Boulevard 
• Turn right onto Mall Road
• The hotel will be on the right.

The airport is 24.4 miles from the conference location.

Driving directions from DAL to The Hyatt Regency Frisco:

• Head northwest on Herb Kelleher Way
• Turn right onto Wycliff Avenue and use the right lane to get on to Dallas North Tollway
• Follow Dallas North Tollway North to the Gaylord Parkway/Warren Parkway exit
• Turn right onto Gaylord Parkway
• Turn right onto Mall Road
• The hotel will be on the left.

Q: When do you recommend we arrive and depart?
A: There will be an optional welcome reception on Sunday, April 21, 2024, beginning at 3:30 p.m. Registration and breakfast for the main conference will begin at 7:30 a.m. on April 22, 2024, so we advise you to arrive the night before (if you are not local). The last session ends at 1 p.m. on April 23, 2024. We will have a grab-and-go box lunch available. This should leave you enough time to make it to the airport (DFW or DAL) for a 3 p.m. or later departure flight.

Q: Will there be an app for The Summit?
A: Yes! After you register, we will send you a link to download the event app to your phone. More information about the app will be released about a month before The Summit. We recommend you download the app before you arrive so you can easily stay in the know.

Q: Will speaker presentations be available for me to review after The Summit?
A: Each speaker determines if they will make their material available to conference attendees. All available presentations will be available for download in the conference app.

Q: Will The Summit be live-streamed?
A: No, The Summit will not be streamed.

Q: Is there an official social media hashtag for The Summit?
A: Yes! Please use #GSSummit24 to interact with our team, other attendees and your followers.
