This tour begins with spectacular rolling hills and serene vineyard surroundings as we circumvent the town of Napa and head for Mt. George and the foothills of the Vaca Mountains. After a rest stop, we will climb to an elevation of 1200 feet before the road veers to the left and the Alpine-like valley below stretches out before you for as far as the eye can see. Keep focused on the twists and turns as the route tumbles toward the valley floor. Warning: if your passenger is susceptible to motion sickness or you have a fear of mountain roads without guardrails, this may not be the tour for you. Otherwise, you will not be disappointed by this portion of the route!

After the descent, we’ll enjoy some great cruising roads as it winds through more valleys and canyons before reaching beautiful Lake Berryessa. Following the Lake Berryessa shoreline, we turn inland and encounter more scenic, Porsche-worthy roads, along with a continuation of picturesque vineyards and farmlands. Finally, we’ll turn into an off-the-beaten-path winery where we have a buy-out of the venue for our enjoyment. The winery will provide private tours of its cave and property, which will culminate in a catered gourmet lunch from Oakville Grocery, a favorite amongst the locals. Be sure to take in the breathtaking panoramic views of native hillside that frame this stunning location. Note: Wine is not included with your tour or meal due to liability reasons.

This tour finishes fairly early in the afternoon and the return instructions will take you thru more great views of the valley and the main throughfare of Napa wine country. Included in your tour directions for a photo op by the “Welcome to Napa Valley” sign.
