OVERVIEW

This live webinar will evaluate the relationship between early childhood respiratory/allergic conditions and other risk factors and the development of pulmonary diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease later in life. The importance of monitoring such patients throughout their lifetime will be stressed. The need for therapeutic continuity will also be discussed.

This activity is intended for an international audience of non-US primary care physicians, pulmonologists, allergists and clinical immunologists, and paediatricians.

GOAL STATEMENT

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to encourage monitoring of respiratory disease progression from early childhood through adult life, appreciating the implications for therapeutic intervention.
