OVERVIEW

Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices provide important advances in blood glucose monitoring technology. And, with real-time CGM (rtCGM), clinicians are able to obtain glucose levels in real time. In early 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the need for rtCGM in the hospital as a means to measure glucose in hospitalized patients with diabetes as in-person finger-stick tests became infeasible. During this time, hospitals across the United States were able to successfully implement and train staff on use of rtCGM. Please join us on October 12, in-person or virtually on our live stream, to learn first-hand the evidence supporting rtCGM in the hospital, processes and protocols that were put into place to ensure the safe and effective use of rtCGM, and case studies to demonstrate the impact of rtCGM on clinical outcomes.
