We are delighted to invite you to the 2023 SCPMG Women in Medicine Symposium on August 25 and 26 in beautiful Newport Beach at the VEA Newport Beach, A Marriott Resort & Spa.

Excitement is building for this opportunity to connect again in person. While our overarching focus remains equity with a gendered perspective, this year we will prioritize “Conversation, Connection and Community”. We hope to help forge new connections, encourage conversation and foster our sense of community. During our conversations, we often gain strength from remembering that we are not alone and that we are stronger together.

We are thrilled to have our California Surgeon General, Dr. Diana Ramos, join us this year as our Keynote speaker. Dr. Ramos is a nationally celebrated public health leader who has dedicated her life to improving health equity. She is the very first OBGYN and the first Hispanic physician to serve in this role.

We have a robust agenda to support our diverse group’s interests and changing needs with topics that include applying healthy boundaries at work and at home, achieving personal goals, caring for our physical and mental health, and feeling safe at work. We will have an opportunity to engage with our leadership as we work to better support ourselves and each other and create inclusive spaces.

Join us for our 'Women in Medicine Soiree' on Friday, August 25th at 7:00 PM. All invited to attend, including guests ($30 per person). This special evening will feature:
